Welcome to Parkside Bible Fellowship's Summer Ladies Bible Study. We will be working our way through the book of Job using Nancy Guthrie's study guide in her book "Holding On To Hope - A pathway through suffering to the heart of God." In addition to this blog, we will meet together in the Fellowship Hall at the church on July 23, Aug. 6, 13 and 27 - 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Child care will be offered. Please call Sarah (423-3855) if you will need it so that adequate arrangements can be made.

Aug. 13 – Group meets – 7:00PM, Fellowship Hall – Covering discussion questions from Week 5 and catching up!
Aug. 17 – Begin working on Week 6
Aug. 20 – Ladies’ Praise Thursday tonight at Debra's house! Don't miss it!
Aug. 24 – Begin working on Week 7 - Preview the discussion questions for week 8, also.
Aug. 27 – Group meets, 7:00PM, Fellowship Hall – Covering discussion questions for Weeks 7 & 8
TBD – Coffee, fellowship and prayer – we’ll decide as a group when and where

Welcome to Parkside Bible Fellowship's Ladies Bible Study!
I’m really looking forward to digging into Job with you. I believe God has a lot to teach us in it this summer. We are using Nancy Guthrie’s book as our guide. If you do not have a copy already, stop by the church office (485 Tedford Ln., Fallon NV) or see me to get one. The cost to the church is $10 per book. ReplyDeleteAs I have grown older I have learned to embrace life's challenges since quite often those are the times I have learned the most and grown the closest to the Lord. It is not a natural tendency to do so. The flesh wants to rage against the difficulties of life. The challenge of the Christian walk is to overcome the responses of the flesh and to rely on the Spirit and to seek God's will and glory in every situation. Anne Hedelius
