Welcome to Parkside Bible Fellowship's Summer Ladies Bible Study. We will be working our way through the book of Job using Nancy Guthrie's study guide in her book "Holding On To Hope - A pathway through suffering to the heart of God." In addition to this blog, we will meet together in the Fellowship Hall at the church on July 23, Aug. 6, 13 and 27 - 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Child care will be offered. Please call Sarah (423-3855) if you will need it so that adequate arrangements can be made.
Job's response was, "though He slay me, yet will I hope in Him".
ReplyDeleteAs I have grown older I have learned to embrace life's challenges since quite often those are the times I have learned the most and grown the closest to the Lord. It is not a natural tendency to do so. The flesh wants to rage against the difficulties of life. The challenge of the Christian walk is to overcome the responses of the flesh and to rely on the Spirit and to seek God's will and glory in every situation. Anne Hedelius
